Baseball as Our National Pastime

Baseball as Our National Pastime and Its Connection to Abraham Lincoln

Noted baseball and presidential historian Talmage Boston will speak about baseball as our national pastime and Lincoln's love for it. He's a media member of the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame, and author of two critically acclaimed baseball history books, Baseball's Tipping Point and Baseball and the Baby Boomer. His most recent book came out last September, Cross-Examining History: A Lawyer Gets Answers From the Experts About Our Presidents.

 

Library will open at 6:00pm. Book signing at 6:00pm.  Presentation at 6:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.
