To honor President’s Day, our Education staff is presenting a new educator professional development workshop called “Toward a More Perfect Union: Struggles in the Balance of Federal and State Power.” Although the U.S Constitution assigns clear powers to Federal and State governments, Presidents often find themselves in conflict with States over balance of power issues. In this hands-on, primary-source based session, you will evaluate key historical conflicts and leave with resources and strategies to teach them in your classroom.
As a bonus, you will receive 3 CPDU credits for your participation!
THIS EVENT IS IN THE LIBRARY. DOORS OPEN AT 8:30AM. WORKSHOP IS FROM 9AM - 12PM.
E-TICKET MUST BE PRESENTED FOR ENTRY (printed or on digital device)
