View up to date information on how Illinois is handling the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) from the Illinois Department of Public Health
Whether enjoying a “date night” or just getting together with friends, you’ll spend a fun-filled evening making your very own work of art inspired by our newest exhibit, "Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in American." But you won't do it alone. You'll receive expert, one-on-one help from an art instructor with the Springfield Art Association. S-A-A will provide all the art supplies you'll need. The museum will have complimentary light snacks. Plus, beer, wine, and soft drinks available for purchase as you create your masterpiece. No outside food or drinks will be allowed.
The artists from the Springfield Art Association will have several different images for you to choose from and all inspired by the museum's newest exhibit, "Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America." Maybe it's James Bond's iconic Astor Martin sports car, a Martini glass (shaken, not stirred, of course!), maybe a shadowy figure lurking behind the corner.
Doors will open at 6:30pm. Event begins at 7:00pm. The museum's newest exhibit, "Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America will be open for viewing.
