Description
The Barber and The President

The Barber and The President; Learn the little known story of the friendship between William de Fleurville (Billy the Barber) and Abraham Lincoln.  The social and political role of African American barbers and barber shops in 19th century Springfield will also be presented.

The program will be open to both children and adults.

The event is in the Library's Multipurpose Room.  This event does not include museum admission.
