Description
Battle of Chickamauga & Chattanooga

Dr. Mark DePue will present, "Battles of Chickamauga & Chattanooga": Grant's capture of Vicksburg gave the Union control of the Mississippi River, and effectively cut the Confederacy in half.  The Union now shifted its focus to Chattanooga, a major port for the Tennessee River traffic.  Yankees and Rebels fought two bloody battles for control.

Discussion at 7:00pm.  Doors will open at 6:30pm.  The museum's journeys and galleries will be open.

E-TICKET MUST BE PRESENTED FOR ENTRY.
